Crash Time Six

This is a pitch I developed for a show for my final project at SJSU. Out of the three options I posted in a previous entry, I chose "Crash Time Six", a show about the children of famous superheroes and what they do while their parents are out saving the world. The show is half action-adventure, half slice-of-life (well, a slice of their life). My goal is to explore the life of the kids, both at home and when they go on crazy adventures.

I'm still working on the designs and the characterization. Hopefully I'll soon have designs for their parents, but since there's ten of them it might take awhile.

The themes of the show would be family, responsibility, friendship, forgiveness, and trying to make the world a better place. Longer story arcs would revolve around the kids uncovering the mythos behind each parent.

BFA Show Pitches

I haven't updated my blog in awhile, so I think I'd post the line ups I made for three show pitches for my final BFA project. I'm not 100% on some of the names but I like the characters.

Virtual Plein Airs

There's this thing a lot of people are doing called "virtual plein airs". You use google street view to find a location to paint, and then you paint it. Here are my virtual plein airs.

Fifth Element Project

This is the first project I did for my advanced visual development class. The assignment was to study the art style of Luc Besson's The Fifth Element and design an object/environment that could fit into the film. I had a really cool narrative about a lost civilization related to The Great Evil of the film that seems to have gotten lost in all the trees I drew. So many trees. I don't even know. But here's a lot of (tree) drawings and a painting!
